Step by Step to Set up Your Hanging Basket Irrigation

µDripReg Adjustment

Turn on the faucet slightly. If water flows out, jump to Step 3.
Turn the dial counterclockwise until water flows out.
Turn the dial clockwise until you reach the shut-off point (water stops). Do not continue past this point.
Turn the dial counterclockwise ¼ to ½ turn. You will be able to see a steady gentle flow of water out of the reducer.
Turn off the faucet and connect the adapter to the µDripReg.
Turn on the faucet to doublecheck a gentle flow of water out of the adapter.
Turn off the faucet and connect the tubing to the adapter.

Prepare your hanging baskets to have them properly hydrated. The best condition would be slight dry. Do not soak the soil. The µDripRing is always ready to provide water. So no extra water storage in the soil is needed.
Connect the µDripReg ❷ to your garden faucet. Adjust it to proper pressure/flow.
Shut off the faucet and connect the tubing adapter ❸ to the µDripReg.
Connect the tubing ❹ to the adapter.
Run the tubing to the hanging baskets.
Connect the tubing to the µDripRing ❶.
Hang your baskets onto the µDripRings.
Turn on the garden faucet.

Before setup, ensure the basket soil is lightly moistened — damp but not fully saturated. The µDripRing is designed to maintain this consistent, gentle level of moisture.
Place baskets on the rings. Lighter baskets (1-6 lb) should be placed in the middle of the lower end of the ring, heavier baskets (6-12 lb) on the right side of the lower end.
Turn on the faucet.
Lift basket until water flows out from the outlet.
Put down the basket and let the water shut off.
Use the small screwdriver to turn the adjustment screw counterclockwise slowly until a single water drop appears at the outlet.
Lightly lift the basket to observe water dripping out.
Now the valve is calibrated.
If you over adjust the ring, use the reset button to reset the valve and repeat from Step 6.
A small piece of tubing can be attached to the outlet to guide the water to the basket (optional).
Caution: Do not turn the adjustment screw clockwise without releasing the reset button, or overtight the adjustment screw to avoid permanent damage to the device. Do not connect µDripRing directly to the water supply with pressure higher than 30 PSI.
