Automatic Watering System for Your Hanging Baskets

The μDripRing™ is designed for hanging baskets that weigh between 2–12 lbs in total (including the pot, soil, plant, and water). Within this range, the automatic watering valve works reliably to deliver the right amount of water. Baskets lighter than 2 lbs may not activate the mechanism, while baskets heavier than 12 lbs may exceed the designed balance.

Yes. The μDripRing™ is designed to work only with regulated low pressure. Connecting it directly to a garden faucet without the μDripReg™ will expose it to full city water pressure, which can permanently damage the μDripRing™. Always install the μDripReg™ pressure regulator between your faucet and the tubing to ensure safe and reliable operation.

You can connect up to 50 hanging baskets to a single μDripReg™. Each basket uses its own μDripRing™, and the regulator ensures consistent low water pressure across the entire line. For larger gardens, you can add additional μDripReg™ units to expand the system.

You have two easy options:

• Place a slow-release fertilizer under the potting soil, which will provide nutrients gradually over time.

• Add a liquid fertilizer solution directly into the hanging basket when needed.

When you add fertilizer solution manually, the μDripRing™ will sense the increased weight of the basket and remain closed for an extended period, until the added water evaporates. This way, your plants get their nutrients without interfering with the automatic watering cycle.
